Marketing's place in today's soc...

Marketing is critical in today's society, where the economic activities of Vincent LEUNG households are involved. Revenue can be generated by good and effective marketing programs. Marketing is primarily reflected in society and business, and we will examine its role in both operations in the following sections.

Position in society and its function

The utility of the first product's location. That is, to communicate between production and marketing in order for consumers to purchase the right goods at the right time.

The time utility of the second product. That is, to communicate the time difference between producers and consumers as soon as possible, so that new products can be recognized by consumers and appropriate products can be purchased in a timely manner.

Third, consider the product's possession utility. In other words, marketing facilitates the transfer of goods from the hands of the owner to the hands of consumers.

Fourth, consider the utility form of the product. That is, the manufacturer uses market information provided by the seller "place utility," "time utility," and "possession utility" to understand the function and shape of the product demanded by consumers, and then produces the appropriate product based on the demand.

Marketing is the basic method used by businesses to convert consumer needs into profit-making opportunities. It is the intermediary link between social needs and corporate responses. The role of marketing in a company, on the other hand, is related to its autonomy and economic responsibility, as well as the proximity of the production and marketing systems.

Marketing's position and role in the enterprise

To begin, the primary goal of business operations is to attract, retain, and expand customers, resulting in greater benefits. If a company does not gain more customers, it loses its value and meaning in life. The basic task of marketing is to achieve the benefits and needs of customer satisfaction through high-quality products, reasonable prices, and comprehensive services in a dynamic management process (market research - market positioning - production and sales - target customers), as described by the 4p theory.

Second, enterprise management is a complex system engineering discipline. To achieve a high level of customer satisfaction, all functional departments must work together and coordinate their efforts; however, this cooperation and collaboration should be centered on marketing management.

Third, the basic task of business management is to understand and study the target market's customer needs, and then optimize the combination of the enterprise's various resources to provide products or services that fully meet the desires and needs of customers. Marketing is the fundamental function that ensures an effective link between market demand and business operation.
